#AwesomeSummer Media Details for WDW

So a 3 day media event has begun today at Walt Ddisney World to promote their #AwesomeSummer !

Basically presenting all the loads of exciting things that will be available for guests visiting this coming summer.

Fortunately for you I will be visiting in July and you will have the lovely Kate to update between the times I will not be there during the summer!

Disney has shown that there will be so much for guests to do throughout all 4 theme parks, water parks and even Disney Springs!

Let's begin with the Theme Parks!

Magic Kingdom

• Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire, the Brand new castle show replacing Dream Along with Mickey, will make its debut this June! This show will present Mickey and his band of Merry makers , Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy and they will be inviting 10 friends from different magical worlds! The friends include the debut of Princess Tiana and Rapunzel for the first time in Magic Kingdom's Castle show as well as crowd favorites Anna and Elsa. The new castle show brings with it amazing dancing, fireworks, stunts, and new music featuring an original song and special effects! 
• Guests will now be able to dine at Skipper's Canteen, across from The World Famous Jungle Cruise attraction in Adventureland!  It's Disney's first restaurant themed after an attraction and I will be doing a review soon during my visit in July. 

EPCOT

Concept art for Frozen Ever After and Sumerhaus

• "Frozen Ever After" will be making its debut this summer season at EPCOT! Anna, Elsa and their audio animatronic friends will invite guests on this boat ride (formally known as Maelstrom)  that sails through the world of the movie we all know and have accepted in our lives whether we like it or not. On your way to Arendelle's Winter in Summer celebration for Queen Elsa go through her ice palace. of course you will hear the familiar songs and new lyrics written by duo Lopez and Anderson!
• Anna and Elsa will have a new meet and greet in Norway as well, meaning that they will probably leave their current home at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom. The Royal Sumerhaus is modeled after a Traditional Norwegian cabin.
• Going to Future world, back by popular demand, guests will travel around the world in the new "Soarin around the World" attraction in the land! the expanded theater has a third theater as well as new digital and projection screens to give guests an experience of glorious landscapes and man made structures!
• In early May, "Turtle Talk with Crush" will have a few new additions to its show! Characters from Disney Pixar's upcoming film, "Finding Dory" will be in theaters June 17, 2016.

Hollywood Studios

• "Star wars: A Galatic Spectacular" Fireworks show will be coming this summer. The show will have lasers, special effects and video projections of iconic characters and scenes from the total saga of Star Wars. Complete with a score from the saga.
• "Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away" celebrates the iconic moments from the Star Wars Saga and debuted April 4th. The show features characters from BB-8 and Chewbacca to Kylo Ren and Darth Maul.
• There is also a "March of the First Order Stormtrooper" procession also debuted April 4th. Led by Captain Phasma to the center stage from Star Wars Launch Bay will strike fear into your heart! 
• The new reimagined "Jedi Ttraining Academy: Trials of the Temple" have new characters and storyline for children to experience and older guests to enjoy.
• Launch Bay features artificats from the Star Wars saga and even character encounters with stormtroopers, jawas, chewie and Kylo ren.
• Star Tours has added Jakku to the Roster as well!
• In non Star wars related news, Celebrity Spotlight will be the place to be to meet Olaf and you can visit Hyperion Theater to join the frozen sing along featuring Anna, Elsa and Kristoff.

Animal Kingdom

Concept Art for Tree of Life Nighttime Celebration

• The Tree of Life will awaken with accompanying celebration on Discovery Island through music and dancing! Animal Spirits will appear and enchanted fireflies reveal stories of wonder to showcase nature.
• New nighttime experience will be added to Kilimanjaro safaris with a beautiful sunset setting. Hyenas and wild dogs will be featured in the safari for the first time ever!
• Lunch and Dinner will be available at Tiffins Signature Restaurant opening this summer on Discovery Island. A variety of African, Asian and South American dishes will be served on waterfront patios or travel themed dining rooms.

Disney Springs will have its marketplace completed by May with an abundance of shopping experiences and new dining experiences too!

Blizzard Beach will be hosting its first ever "Frozen Games " with hosts Olaf and Kristoff engaging guests in friendly and fun competitive games!
