Disney World Gondola Construction Update

Construction has already begun at several sites including international gateway, Caribbean Beach Resort and land between Caribbean and Pop Century.

International Gateway Construction Space, Satellite View

Construction walls have gone up at International Gateway Lawn entirely with small room for guests to use the entrance. It does not affect any operations including ticket booths or friendship boats, which is good for the most part.

Moving on to Caribbean Beach Construction!

According to blogmickey, the top photo shows us spaces waiting to be demolished for a possible load and turn station.

This photo is the same but looking from a southeast angle.

This photo gives us more depth to the scale of the construction site.

Finally we have a photo showing us land cleared for the site. Trees have been taken down in this spot.

The gondola system is set to be operational in 2019.
