Pandora: World of Avatar Details
Details have been coming in about Disney's newest land as we draw closer to its opening date! I will be discussing food, times and special dates released by DisneyParks Blog over the past few days.
From May 27th and July 4th, Pandora: World of Avatar will be open to guests until 1am so they can fully experience the bio-luminescent wildlife of the environment. This was to always be the plan once development on the expansion including Rivers of Light began. Also, Annual Passholder preview dates have been released. APs will either be able to preview the land on April 8th or 9th with additional dates to be added later on. DisneyParks Blog has also given guests a preview of some dishes that will be served at the eatery, Satu'li Canteen,
This eatery was originally the mess hall for the RDA (Resources Development Administration) but once ACE(Alpha Centauri Expeditions) tour company took over, it became a museum like dining hall for visitors. Dishes will be full of grain, protein and veggies while the interior will be decorated with Na'vi tapestries, artwork and cookware that will hang from the ceiling and walls. An on stage grill will be the centerpiece in the dining area.

DisneyParks Blog stated " Look for familiar dishes with a twist in the fast-casual restaurant, with bowls that allow diners to customize their lunch or dinner. Diners start with a base of quinoa and vegetable salad; red and sweet potato hash; mixed whole-grain and rice or romaine and kale salad. Next is either with wood-grilled chicken, slow-roasted beef, sustainable fish or chili-spiced fried tofu. And the bowl is finished with charred onion chimichurri, black bean vinaigrette or creamy herb dressing.
The menu also offers steamed “pods” – bao buns with either cheeseburger or vegetable curry and served with root vegetable chips and crunchy vegetable slaw.
For little ones, there’s an option of grilled chicken or beef, fish or tofu with greens or rice; a hot dog wrapped in Parker House dough; cheese quesadilla, or a steamed “pod” (cheeseburger bao bun)”
