Planet Hollywood in Disney Springs is Open! (Again)
Planet Hollywood reopened yesterday evening for Dinner service (and apparently it was uncertain if it was going to open last night at all despite being pushed back 3 times from opening). It was originally slated to open in Fall 2016. Based on what i am seeing the reviews are not good for the location.
But now known as "Planet Hollywood Observatory" it has become a 4 story, although apparently the 3rd level was not open to the public yet, featuring an outdoor terrace, new menu and new look and feel. The look apparently confuses guests however as they do not know what feel they are going for exactly.
The restaurant also has a Stargazers Lounge which allows guests to dine and relax under the stars.
The Observatory immerses guests in a theatrical experience with each floor providing a different feel, including a wall of film memorabilia and a 4,500 square foot video wall which will utilize 3D tech that portrays such realism in its images that it appears to be 3 dimensions.
Burgers and Sandwiches on the new menu, including the infamous "Mayor of Flavortown", was created by Celeb Chef Guy Fieri. There are also hand crafted milkshakes( toothsome anyone???) and sweets as well.
