BREAKING: HONG KONG DISNEYLAND ANNOUNCES NEW ATTRACTIONS, MULTI YEAR EXPANISION
Sadly i have suffered from pretty bad insomnia as of late but it paid off today.
At around 3 or 4 am i was among the 1st to her the breaking news that Hong Kong Disneyland would begin a multi year expansion in 2018 at their parks. It confirmed rumors that a new castle would be brought to the park as well as new attractions, lands and entertainment.
Fortunately for me, this means i may push my HK disneyland trip back a few years until construction is completed. But enough about me! let's get into the details!
First off, the rumors are true and HK DLR's Sleeping Beauty Castle and the surrounding area will be transformed in order to bring incredible night and daytime entertainment to guests. This will even include a bibbidi bobbidi boutique! Concept art for the new castle is above and it looks spectacular in my opinion.
Next we have HK DLR's first Marvel themed attraction, Iron Man Experience, which will open on January 11th. The area will be built which includes a reimagined buzz lightyear astroblaster ride and a brand new ride dedicated to marvel's most popular franchises. it is not known what it will be yet.
And of course we have to have Frozen in the mix somewhere. A brand new Frozen themed land will be added to HK DLR. Guests will be able to be fully immersed in the land of Arendelle filled with attractions and unique dining, shopping and entertainment experiences.
Finally, guests will be able to visit Moana's Village Festival in adventureland for a new daytime show and you will be able to meet moana herself!
Expansions will begin 2018-2023!
