Guests entering Disney Parks Backstage Areas to Catch Pokemon

PokemonGo is a widely popular app where you can catch pokemon in the real world using your GPS. It has been a smash hit all around the world and of course people were excited when they discovered the pokemon you could find at Disney World.

I am being told the Cinderella Castle, West Clock and Expedition Everest are Pokemon Gyms while there are pokestops pretty much everywhere on property. I have had at least 2 people a day show me this particular pokestop

But it's already becoming a problem on property as guests are actually going into the backstage areas to catch pokemon which are off limits to guests and only open to cast members. I can't confirm this for sure but there is a rumor that Disney may try to get the app banned from the parks or get some sort of restriction on it so guests won't go backstage.

Time will tell sooner rather than later but i have to remind guests there are plenty of pokemon in the parks and you should not go backstage. This is a matter of keeping all guests safe. Please do not ruin the fun for everyone by lacking common sense.
