On Thursday, July 14, D23 Gold and Gold Family Members are invited to celebrate the grand opening of UNIQLO at Disney Springs! Join fellow D23 Members and the D23 Team as we enjoy remarkable live entertainment, delectable hors d’oeuvres, and refreshing beverages amid the beautiful, open-air setting of Town Center.
D23 Members will also enjoy a special discount during this exclusive shopping event.
UNIQLO, a modern Japanese company that offers a unique range of the latest women’s, men’s, and kids’ clothing and accessories, will be the latest high-profile tenant to join Disney Springs Town Center, marking the brand’s introduction to the Central Florida market.

It’s time to turn back the clock to 1941 and celebrate The Reluctant Dragon with a party at The Walt Disney Studios! Join an incredible lineup of Disney Legends, historians, archivists, and artists as D23 commemorates the 75th anniversary of the feature film with a movie screening, exclusive presentations, and themed activities no fan will want to miss!
Explore the early days of Walt’s “dream factory” in Burbank, as the Studio Theatre hosts a lineup of fascinating presentations that reveal how the creative campus helped the Disney staff revolutionize the animation process. These behind-the-scenes panels will offer a look at the Studio lot’s origins with rare footage and photography, a peek into early animation processes, a celebration of Disney character voice acting, and a glimpse into the making of the 1941 feature, The Reluctant Dragon! Then, enjoy a 75th-anniversary screening of the film as it’s presented on the big screen.
Special guests will include Disney Legends Tony Baxter, Bill Farmer, and Dave Smith; Walt Disney Archives Director Becky Cline and members of the Archives staff; artist and Disney voice actor Bret Iwan; Animation Research Library Manager Fox Carney; Disney historian and artist Stacia Martin; and film historian and producer Les Perkins.
But the fun isn’t over yet! After watching The Reluctant Dragon, join your fellow D23 Members and the D23 Team for a party on Mickey Avenue and Dopey Drive, where special activities and photo opportunities await. Enjoy an exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives, tasty treats, and appearances by our special guests. You’ll also receive a special gift and have the chance to shop at the Disney Studio Store.
As part of the fun, all guests are invited to dress in their best 1940s fashion! We look forward to rewinding and seeing you there!
About The Reluctant Dragon:
The Reluctant Dragon, released June 20, 1941, follows humorist Robert Benchley as he explores the Disney Studio lot in an attempt to sell Walt Disney on an idea for a new film project. Along the way, he explores an art class, experiences sound recording sessions, and gets behind-the-scenes glimpses of the story, animation, and camera departments. The film culminates in an animated retelling of Kenneth Grahame’s The Reluctant Dragon—an exciting moment filled with action, adventure, and, of course, poetry.

Children that are two years old or younger, are welcome to select D23 activities. Please note age restrictions where applicable.
Children, ages 3-9, require a credential to attend activities, but will be eligible for a $850 discount. Please forward your credential confirmation email to GuestRelations@D23.com to request a partial reimbursement. The net cost of the credential, after the child reimbursement, will be $450.
Please keep in mind that a children’s credential is considered one guest for Gold Members and one of the three guests for Gold Family Members.

Trick-or-treat! D23 Members looking for something good to eat should not miss Sip & Scream during the 21st Epcot International Food & Wine Festival at Walt Disney World! As part of their culinary experience, Sip & Scream attendees are invited to partake in delectable dining, spooky entertainment, and a special taping of ABC’s Emmy® Award-winning series The Chew!
On October 5, D23 Members will enjoy either a morning or afternoon taping of The Chew, set against the park’s iconic Spaceship Earth backdrop. Show co-hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Carla Hall, Clinton Kelly, and Daphne Oz will share tasty new recipes and a bounty of festival surprises with their Epcot audiences.
Sip & Scream guests will also enjoy free time to taste the Festival’s newest culinary offerings across Future World and World Showcase—including three delicious dishes inspired by The Chew: Grilled Beef Skewer with Romaine, Apricots, and Feta Cheese; Ricotta and Zucchini Ravioli with Rustic Tomato Sauce; and Peanut Butter and White Chocolate Mousse with a Caramel Drizzle. These food stars of the Epcot festival will be available at The Chew Collective in the Next Eats festival area of Future World.
The culinary adventure continues as D23 Members will experience an exclusive presentation in World Showcase. Then it’s time to partake in a musical feast of sizzling tunes, as guests enjoy reserved seating at the Eat to the Beat concert at the America Gardens Theatre!

This intimate D23 Behind-the-Scenes experience is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction. We invite you—if you dare—to join us on October 5 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where youare the star. Because this event travels directly to…The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Your evening will begin at the Hollywood Tower Hotel, which was once a beacon amid the glitz and glitter of a bustling, young movie town. There, you’ll discover the details and secrets that surround you during an after-hours, behind-the-scenes discussion of the legendary park attraction.
Then, when the clock strikes 12, it’s time to delight in a private midnight soirée at the historic hotel. Enjoy themed food, beverages, and entertainment recalling the legendary night in 1939, when five unlucky passengers first stepped through the door of an elevator and into a nightmare.
This Behind-the-Scenes Experience wouldn’t be complete without an exclusive photo opportunity inside the Hollywood Tower Hotel with a special guest directly from the Twilight Zone!
