Journey to the Past!

This past Tuesday i traveled all the way from my hometown of Maryland to Hartford Connecticut to watch a showing of Anastasia: the Musical!

I had to drive the long 6 hr journey but it was great!

Once we arrived we had dinner at Salute, a restaurant a few blocks away from the theater! this place was so great! the service was exceptional, the food was yummy and came out quick, and the staff was amazing! Rosa, our waitress, was very kind and warm. The owner, Jimmy (jimmie?) went beyond expected for us. He gave us dessert on the house and even walked us to our car and gave us directions to our hotel! He was amazingly kind to us and i truly want to go back if plans ever take me to Connecticut.

Above are photos of the restuarant "Salute" inside and out.

The architeture of Downtown Hartford was breathtaking. The city really is great!

As far as the show goes it was absolutely spectacular! The entire cast was talented and brilliant. the songs and dances were beautiful and the sets were just breathtaking! costumes were magnificent. This show literally is a must see! It truly deserves to go to broadway.

We stayed at one of my favorite hotels! the Mariott Fairfield Inn ! It's so great! i love the pool and jacuzzi! I can also take advantage of the business center for my travel agent business now! Very cheap, highly recommended for a stay! Breakfast is included!

On the way home we stopped in New York City, which was my first visit since 5th grade, and we stopped by times square since we had limited time.

Above are some pics of the Disney Store NYC! Of course i had to stop here! I even got some exclusive NYC Statue of Liberty Minnie Merch!

I also visited HersheyWorld and its not as big as Hersheypark's but it was cool! I even saw the infamous characters at times square haha!

It was so great!

Next trip is Ocean City,  Maryland !
