Great Shows to See at Disney World

Now before i start this list let's keep in mind that these are my own personal suggestions for shows on property that are absolute must sees! If my opinion means anything then hey go for it. if not and you are new, at least keep an open mind and do it once.

First is the absolutely amazing "Festival of the Lion King." It's a really cool show at the Harambe Theater at Disney's Animal Kingdom that combines the the songs from the beloved movie with singers, acrobatics, fire breathers, stilt walkers, costumed characters and more! It is literally one of the best shows at Disney world i have personally ever seen. There is immense talent in this show. Personally i would get fastpasses for this show, that's how good it is.

Here's a sneak peek !

This next show is my personal favorite! The Main Street Trolley Show ! It's a wonderful trolley show that makes its way down Main Street USA, making its last stop in front of the train station. Expect to be treated to a toe tapping, feel good song and dance number reminiscent of "Meet me in St, Louis" with a Disney flair. The costumes are adorable and the songs and dances are just really really great! The best part of this show is that it's seasonal! With every season the costumes, songs and dances change so no matter what time of the year you go you will more than likely not see the same show!

And finally we have Winter Trolley Show!

If you are like me and like to rise early for a disney vacation then you will be in for a treat when you go to the Magic Kingdom Park opening.

Before guests enter the park they are treated to a welcome show featuring the Mayor of Main Street, the Family of the Day, the Main Street Trolley Kids and some Disney Characters. I have gone to this show a few times but i try to go at least once each trip because it's quite a treat and it gets guests excited to enter the park. It really gives you a overall sneak peek of what you are about to enter.

I have yet to experience Animal Kingdom's brand new nighttime experiences and i won't be able to for another 2 months unfortunately but my friends have absolutely raved about the limited time replacement for Rivers of Light while it continues preparation. Jungle Book: Alive with Magic is , according to friends, a must see! Based on the photos they shared on instagram i hope i get to see it at least once before rivers of light makes it debut!

I will admit this is my "kill time/ get some shade" show but its still a really entertaining show nonetheless. the Indiana Jones Stunt Show Spectacular is , well a stunt show, but if you are a fan of the films then this is a great show. They even bring guests out to be a part of the show and actually the last time i went to the show i got picked with my friend patrick! There are butt loads of stunts plus like i said seats and shade so you can't beat that right!

Flights of Wonder at Disney's Animal Kingdom is a show about birds. But you get up close and personal! Trained Professionals handle the birds and do tricks with them while educating guests about the different species. It's a really interesting show which i must admit i don't take advantage of much and i really should. Here is a video to prove my point!

Finally the latest show to debut at Magic Kingdom called "Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire" Now this show debuted this past friday and i have only seen videos and pictures but i can honestly say i was sobbing over this show. Mainly because my favorite princess, Tiana, was in the show and she slayed. The show is about Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy returning from all over the kingdom and inviting the friends they met along the way to join the friendship faire! Friends include Tiana, Naveen, Louis (who did not join the debut due to sensitivity to the gator incident last week), Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Anna , Elsa and Olaf and all their friends! New songs and dances add to how spectacular this new show is and fans are in love with it! I personally love the new costumes! take a look at some of the videos and pictures from its debut day!
