Disney Responds to Tragic Gator Attack at Disney World

By now, most of us have heard about the Graves family who had to experience the unfortunate loss of their 2 year old son when he was attacked by a gator on Disney Property and was killed.

Full details can be found on my post here

GATOR ATTACKS CHILD AT DISNEY WORLD

Bob Iger, Walt Disney Company CEO responded with this statement :

“As a parent and a grandparent, my heart goes out to the Graves family during this time of devastating loss. My thoughts and prayers are with them, and I know everyone at Disney joins me in offering our deepest sympathies,” Iger said in a statement.

Disney is not taking this lightly at all as they have quickly implementing changes.

Starting today, changes are being made to the Jungle Cruise. There is a line in attraction said by the Cruise Skipper that goes, "Watch your Children or the crocodile will!" The Jungle Cruise is supposed to be full of corny puns and jokes. However this particular line Disney felt was inappropriate after the events of what happened just a few days ago. No word if the line will return to the script or not however.

Some fans are wondering if the tick tock crocodile in Festival of Fantasy parade will be temporarily removed or if Louis the Alligator from Princess and the Frog will make his show debut in the new castle stage show.

Disney has also put up new warning signs about alligators on beaches and lakes on property.

Disney is still investigating the incident.
