Shanghai Guests not liking Park Prices.

Trial operations for Shanghai Disney has been getting the general public excited for the grand opening but not everything can be too perfect. Visitors to the park have been complaining about the prices, particularly for the food served in the park.

One guest says she was disappointed in her $5 latte. It costs as much as a starbucks coffee and it wasn't the price that bothered her, but the quality of the drink. She said it was simply not worth the price.

Apparently Shanghai Soup dumplings cost $1 in the parks, which visitors found way too expensive since you can find them in the city for 15 cents. One guest bought a burger, fries and a pepsi for $11.50 whereas a Mcdonalds in China sells this meal for $5.80. Two guests went to Disneyland, one brought her own boxed lunch while the other bought food from the park. For pork chops and rice she paid $14 while the guest who brought her own lunch paid $5.

Admission to the park is $57 but can be $76 during peak times. Murray Kking, Shanghai Disney Spokesperson stated that the price for Shanghai Disney is the cheapest for any park around the world as of now.

Chief Executive of Shanghai Shendi Group stated that the trial operations are to work out kinks and listen to customers concerns and complaints, as well as lower guest expectations.
