Auditions for Princess Elena has begun

So i usually check the Disneyaudtions.com site for curiousity purposes to get clues as to what disney is planning to bring to the parks since i love character hunting during my trips.

Yesterday during my lunch with friends i took a peek and discovered this!

Disney world is currently searchign nationwide for friends for Elena, the newest princess coming to Disney Channel and Disney world in august!

There are two audition types, Actor/Vocalist and Female Look alike which makes me wonder what show could they out her in that would incorporate her singing?

Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking female actors/vocalists to portray Elena of Avalor, thefirst Disney princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures, in a new offering to be performed at The Magic Kingdom® Park at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.

Seeking the following role:

Elena: Elena of Avalor is a bold, caring, funny and clever 16-year-old who is ascendant to the throne in the fairytale kingdom of Avalor. She is bilingual and is a mezzo-soprano vocalist. Elena plays the guitar, so an actor/vocalist that has a guitar background is a plus, but not required. Must portray 16 years of age, slender, 5’2-5’6. Type Cast.

Look alike

Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking female performers to portray Elena of Avalor, the first Disney princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures, at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.

Please note: all performers, including Disney Character Look-alikes, will also perform in meet-and-greets as fully costumed Disney Characters in our Parks and Resorts. This includes wearing large body costumes, heads, and feet, and exposure to hot and humid weather. We are only seeking performers for FULL TIME positions. FULL TIME positions require at least one year of work in Orlando, FL.
