Paris Day One: Notre Dame Cathedral

On our first day in paris we did not really follow the itinerary we had planned originally since we went the disneyland paris the first 3 days of our trip but i will report that last.

First we went to notre dame in the morning.

Being a disney fan and a great fan of the victor hugo novel, i was very excited to come here and i was not at all disappointed.

Now i am not a terribly religious person, but visiting notre dame was such a beautiful and moving experience.

The outside was very intimidating at first honestly.

I had read so many books and stories and watched so many films regarding the history of this great cathedral that to see it in person was like meeting a celebrity.

Upon going inside i was absolutely awestruck by the beauty of the cathedral. I have been in a few in my lifetime but nothing like this. Every corner and detail expressed a beautiful piece of religious history.

Truly just a wonderful experience!

As we exited the cathedral the bells rang out and it was just amazing!

Unfortunately we did not have a chance to go to the top but nonetheless it was a beautiful experience.
