MAJOR DISNEY PARKS NEWS
Disney parks went super hard reporting all their latest entertainment additions to the parks all in one morning pretty much.
Im assuming they have heard the upset from guests about certain guests experiences such as meet and greets being cut and shows being cut to one show a day, etc and have attempted to make up for it and boy have they delivered!
I will get right to it!
It was announced that the zootopia characters Judy and Nick are finally coming to the parks as i reported previously.
They will be replacing stitch and presumably genie in the MISI show at Magic Kingdom while titch will be taking over Marie's spot at the flagpole. Also Nick and Judy will be doing meet and greets at DCA as well.
So to clarify, meet and greets for the zootopia characters as of now are only available at DCA while they will just be in MISI at WDW. I was told before that they would be going to DAK for meet and greets but it was never confirmed.
Next Disney Announced their DAK Nightlife entertainment including the opening date for the River of Light Spectacular which will be April 22, 2016.

The disney parks blog will be holding a live chat on March 8th at 1:15pm EST with 2 members of the creative team behind rivers of light.
Disney was kind enough to even give details about the show which are described below:
The show will take place on Discovery River between Discovery Island and Expedition Everest – take a close look and you can you see the Tree of Life in the background. In “Rivers of Light,” a pair of mystical hosts come to the river bearing gifts of light. During the show, the hosts set out from the shore on elaborate lantern vessels for a dramatic dance of water and light to summon animal spirits. With the storytellers as your guides, the wonders of “Rivers of Light” builds to a stunning crescendo.
In addition to the show, you’ll also notice the park’s iconic Tree of Life will undergo an amazing awakening as the animal spirits of the tree are brought to “light” by magical fireflies, revealing moments of wonder and enchantment.
Moving on, Disney parks announced that Olaf and Kristoff from Frozen will be hosting frozen games at disney's Blizzard Beach.
And finally in non disney park news, there will be a big hero 6 animated tv series coming to Disney XD in 2017 and the directors of kim possible are on board the project.

The Winter Games Committee has taken advantage of the freak snowstorm over Central Florida and will host an impromptu sporting event known as The Frozen Games. They’ve even invited Kristoff and Olaf to lead teams of guests in a day full of fun “Frozen” activities, before the warm sun melts the snow away.
Guests visiting the waterpark can to join “Team Kristoff” or “Team Olaf” and participate in a variety of activities, including Ice Pail Relays, a Snowball Toss to Ski Pole Limbo and Slide Races.
Olaf and Kristoff will join the Winter Games Committee members in the games’ Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and will give updates throughout the games to report on their team’s achievements.
Finally, The characters of Finding Dory will be joining Turtle talk with crush at EPCOT and DCA. This coincided with the release of the trailer on the ellen degeneres show today although some people who were treated to an early preview of zootopia had already seen the trailer.
