NEW STAR WARS NIGHTTIME SPECTACULAR COMING TO DHS!
As a star wars fan i was truly excited when i first was told this news but i was asked to wait until it was announced to speak on it!
True to my word, I am SUPER excited to announce that a new star wars nighttime spectacular is coming to Hollywood studios!
I was told last month that a brand new star wars stage show along with a nighttime spectacular and procession!
I just about died!
Disney Parks Blog announced it while i was at work today!
Apparently the spectacular is so epic that it will make theme park history, so i am assuming it will have the use of drones carrying projection and light screens as i reported on Diskingdom.com earlier today.
Some of the events will begin April 4th, with the " Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away" stage show. The show will be featured on the center stage, in front of the chinese theater (which I am lowkey bummed about because I hate when the stage blocks the theater.) The show will feature iconic moments from the films and will feature appearances from Star wars characters such as Kylo Ren, the latest star wars villain from "The force awakens" also my friend Erin's bae so sorry ladies, he's spoken for.
Also making appearances will be Chewie ,who belongs to my friend Colorina, so sorry he's taken too.
Darth Vader will be coming as well to the stage and last but not least, my dark side master, Darth maul!
Captain Phasma will begin a march of the stormtroopers from Star Wars Launch Bay to center stage multiple times daily starting April 4th as well.
"Star wars: a galactic spectacular" fireworks show will debut this summer!
Disney Parks Blog described it :
The show will combine fireworks, pyrotechnics, special effects and video projections that will turn the nearby Chinese Theater and other buildings into the twin suns of Tatooine, a field of battle droids, the trench of the Death Star, Starkiller Base and other Star Wars destinations. The show will be punctuated with a tower of fire and spotlight beams, creating massive lightsabers in the sky. This new show will be the most elaborate fireworks display to take place in the history of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
I am personally MAJORLY excited to see this in person this coming summer when i visit!
