When to Book your Flights

One of the First things you should ask yourself when planning a trip is "When do i book my flight?"

This question is important because it determines whether or not you are going to be getting the best deal available.

It really depends on certain factors like the day, time of day , how far away your vacation is, the airline and whether or not you are flying domestic or internationally.

We will start with Domestic flights.

According to CheapAir.com, it's best to book your flight at least 47 days in advance in order to get the best deal.

One to 4 months before is the booking window you should shoot for though. Avoid waiting last minute or the prices will sky rocket!

Consider booking earlier when you are traveling during the summer, traveling with a large party or you are particular about details such as which airline you wish to fly with, layovers, etc.

The best day to shop for Airline Tickets are Tuesdays at 3pm.  Usually this is when airlines release their deals and you can compare to get the best one.
