BREAKING: ARMED MAN ARRESTED AT DISNEYLAND PARIS
Earlier Today, a man was taken into custody after it was discovered that he was carrying two guns, bullets and a koran in his suitcase!
It was discovered during a Xray scan of the luggage when he checked into Hotel New York, One of the most expensive resort hotels in Disneyland Paris, and he was promptly arrested by Disney Security.
Officers were also on the hunt for a woman seen with the 28 year old man, as he booked the hotel room for two. She was later found and arrested as well.
As of now both suspects are not known to French intelligence services and no information has been released to confirm or deny the possibility of a terrorist attack.
This is the second time in about a month that an individual was caught attempting to bring a firearm into a Disney Park.
Back in Early December of 2015, a Disney Security guard noticed a bulge in a man's pocket as he came through bag check. He was followed by a sheriff's deputy, noticed he was being followed and attempted to run. He was held at gunpoint by the deputy and he quickly gave himself up and admitted he was carrying not only a gun, but 5 hollow pointed bullets as well.
The man did have a permit to carry a concealed weapon but it was 10 years expired.
He was charged with illegally carrying a weapon and arrested.
Since the incident. not only did the domestic Disney Parks add metal detectors at their bag check but most of the Orlando and California theme parks followed suit.
Meanwhile Paris is still under state of emergency after the terrorist attacks.
I will update with details as they come regarding the incident but no one was harmed.
