According to a few CM friends, We may be seeing a certain gypsy roaming about World Showcase in EPCOT!

Esmeralda Twirling at Disneyland during Long Lost Friends Week

Esmeralda is rarely seen at Disney Parks around the world. She is usually seen at Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland in Fantasyland. Sometimes she can be spotted on the Mark Twain Riverboat during Fantasmic at Disneyland. She did come out in recent years during Disney Parks year of "Limited Time Magic" along with Frollo,  Captain Phoebus and Clopin but has not been seen in the domestic parks since.

With the recent testing of characters roaming in Disney World, It is a possibility but with her being a rare character its hard to say. Flynn Rider and Peter Pan were successful as roaming characters when they were tested but that was in New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. World Showcase in Epcot is a whole different ballgame.
